drnewitt.vincere.io is partnering with a major food manufacturing site in Dorset to recruit a Supply Chain Manager who will own end-to-end supply chain operations.

In this high-impact role you will lead planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics, drive continuous improvement, and coach a high-performing team on a large manufacturing footprint. On-site salary up to £74,000 with car allowance and bonus.

Qualifications

• Significant senior supply chain leadership experience within food manufacturing.
• Experience managing supply chain operations at large-scale sites (~800 headcount).
• Strong ERP/MRP proficiency and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Spearhead site supply chain strategy, continuous improvement, waste reduction and risk mitigation.
• Oversee S&OP, demand forecasting, production planning, inventory control and working capital.
• Ensure OTIF delivery and optimise transport networks and 3PL contracts.
• Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, Finance and Commercial to align capability with goals.
• Coach, develop and inspire a high-performing team on a large manufacturing footprint.

Supply Chain Manager – Large-Scale Food Manufacturing

Location: Dorset (On-site)

Package: Up to £74,000 + Car Allowance + Bonus

Are you an accomplished Supply Chain leader used to driving operational excellence in large-scale, fast-paced environments?

I am partnering with a major food manufacturing site (circa 800 people) in Dorset to find a high-calibre Supply Chain Manager to take total ownership of end-to-end supply chain operations.

This high-profile, strategic site leadership role will drive resilience, optimise performance across planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, and logistics, and lead a talented team through sustained growth.

Your Responsibilities

• Spearhead site supply chain strategy, championing continuous improvement, waste reduction, and risk mitigation.
• Oversee robust S&OP processes, demand forecasting, production planning, inventory control, and working capital management.
• Ensure flawless OTIF delivery to customers while optimising transport networks and third-party logistics provider contracts.
• Partner closely with Operations, Procurement, Finance, and Commercial teams to align supply capability with business goals.
• Coach, develop, and inspire a high-performing team on a large, complex manufacturing footprint.

Your Skills & Experience

• Significant senior supply chain leadership experience gained specifically within food manufacturing.
• Demonstrable track record managing supply chain operations within large-scale manufacturing sites (around 800+ headcount equivalent).
• Strong proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, advanced data-driven decision-making, and proven delivery of cost-saving/lean initiatives.
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the resilience, pace, and agility to thrive under pressure.

The Package:

• Base Salary: £70,000 – £74,000
