The ideal candidate will bring senior finance experience, be hands-on, and capable of guiding a growing operation in a prestigious Cornwall setting.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Financial Controller or senior finance role.
• Experience in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment.
• Proficiency with Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar platforms.
• ACCA or CIMA qualification is advantageous though not essential.
• Qualified by experience with a strong track record considered.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger functions.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements.
• Managing cash flow and forecasting to support decision making.
• Implementing and maintaining robust financial controls.
• Collaboration with departmental heads on budgets and performance.
• Liaising with external auditors during the annual audit.
• Staying current with accounting regulations and best practice.
