Job summary

InfoSum, part of WPP Media, is seeking a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead month-end close, manage reporting, and drive financial improvements in a high-velocity media group. You will partner with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate reporting and robust controls.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong leadership, excellent analytical skills, and experience in group reporting and consolidation.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent.
Experience in Financial Controller/Finance Manager roles.
Strong financial reporting, balance sheet management, and consolidation knowledge.
Advanced Excel skills with complex data analysis.
Experience leading finance teams and managing stakeholders.
Ability to improve processes and drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities

Lead month-end, quarter-end, half-year, and year-end close with timely reporting.
Prepare monthly management accounts, variances and commentary.
Oversee revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support statutory reporting and year-end submissions.
Provide ad hoc financial analysis to support decision-making.
Partner with regional and group finance teams to deliver reporting packages.
