Job summary

InfoSum, a WPP privacy-first data collaboration platform, is hiring a commercially minded Financial Controller on a 6-month fixed-term contract. You will lead month-end and year-end close, deliver timely reporting to WPP, and partner with stakeholders to drive improvements across finance.

The role offers a pathway to a permanent position, with responsibilities including group reporting, balance sheet management, and building a high-performing finance team within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA/ACCA/CIMA.
• Proven experience in Financial Controller/Finance Manager roles.
• Strong financial reporting, balance sheet management, and close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, SUMIFS, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP).
• Experience leading finance teams and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, half-year, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, P&L, balance sheets, and commentary.
• Deliver variance analysis and actionable business insights.
• Oversee revenue recognition and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Support statutory reporting and audit activities.
• Partner with regional and group finance teams to deliver reporting.
• Coach and develop finance team members.
