Job summary

IPS Finance is seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to lead its finance function and support the next phase of business growth. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure robust financial controls, deliver accurate reporting, manage cash flow and maintain statutory compliance for the growing SME.

The role requires ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification (or equivalent experience) with senior finance leadership experience, and a proven track record in financial planning and controlling functions.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or qualified by experience) accountant with experience operating in a Financial Controller, Finance Manager or similar senior finance position.

Responsibilities

• Producing monthly management accounts, cash‑flow forecasts and board reports.
• Leading budgeting, forecasting and strategic planning processes.
• Managing treasury activities, banking relationships and funding facilities.
• Maintaining strong financial controls, governance and compliance frameworks.
• Overseeing payroll, sales ledger, purchase ledger and financial operations.
• Managing year‑end audits, statutory accounts and tax compliance.
• Providing financial modelling, commercial analysis and strategic decision support.
