Job summary

Forvis Mazars in the UK is seeking a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or finalist to join our finance team in Leeds. You will contribute to monthly and annual reporting, statutory accounts, and support from planning to delivery, collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

The role focuses on accurate financial reporting, analysis of the cost base, and opportunities to drive performance.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) or finalist with relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proven experience in a management or financial accounting role.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accounting entries including accruals and prepayments in line with accounting standards.
• Analyse and highlight risks and opportunities within the cost base and wider business performance.
• Deliver targeted financial reporting to support decision‑making and drive behavioural change.
• Support the planning and delivery of monthly reporting and annual financial statements.
