St John's Hospice in Lancashire seeks an exceptional Director of Finance and Resources to join our Senior Management Team on a three-year fixed-term basis. This strategic role guides finance, governance and resources during a major refurbishment period, ensuring sustainability and service continuity for the community.

Reporting to the Chief Executive and working with the Board, you will lead financial planning, risk management and financial reporting across the charity and subsidiaries,

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for effective financial management, robust assessment of financial risks, and lead accounting and financial reporting for the charity and subsidiaries.
• Advise the Board and Senior Management Team with sound financial stewardship and governance across the organisation.
• Lead on performance analytics and ensure robust, accurate data informs strategic decisions.
• Ensure a safe hospice environment and the physical resources to support strategic plans, including digital transformation.
