Job summary

Forge Talent is seeking a Finance Business Partner to act as the lead Finance Partner for the UK division for a six-month FTC. You will own forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning, partnering with commercial leadership to drive revenue, margin and profitability while influencing senior stakeholders.

The role requires a qualified accountant with strong commercial finance capabilities and experience in FMCG/retail.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with proven Commercial Finance Business Partnering experience.
• Strong commercial finance capability across forecasting, budgeting, performance analysis and decision support.
• Experience within FMCG, consumer products or retail environments would be highly advantageous.
• Comfortable analysing large, fragmented datasets and building meaningful commercial insights from imperfect information.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior non-finance stakeholders and challenge constructively.

Responsibilities

• Partner with commercial leadership to provide insight, challenge and financial support across revenue, margin and profitability performance.
• Lead performance analysis including volume, price, mix, range and cost drivers, producing meaningful commentary and recommendations.
• Own forecasting, budgeting and long-range planning activities for the UK commercial operation.
• Provide decision support around pricing strategy, promotional investment, rebates and commercial initiatives.
• Produce and enhance trade reporting, board-level reporting packs and commercial performance analysis for senior stakeholders.
