Job summary

The role blends hands-on management accounting with real business partnering, engaging with operational stakeholders and influencing decisions across the business.

Qualifications

• Professionally qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or qualified by experience (QBE).
• Experience producing management accounts, budgeting and forecasting.
• Comfortable engaging with people outside of finance.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts
• Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Working closely with operational managers, providing financial insight and support
• Helping budget holders understand performance, risks and opportunities
• Month-end accounting including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations
• KPI and performance reporting
• Supporting improvements to financial processes, controls and reporting
• Building strong relationships across finance and the wider organisation
