Job summary

RECfinancial are exclusively partnering with a successful Leicester-based business to appoint a Finance Business Partner. The role focuses on providing financial insight across the business and supporting growth through analysis and stakeholder collaboration.

You will work beyond traditional month-end tasks, contribute to budgeting and forecasting, and develop reporting models, with hybrid working after probation.

Qualifications

• Experience in FP&A or Finance Business Partnering with a commercial focus.
• Strong Excel skills; Power BI/dashboard exposure is advantageous.
• Studying towards or qualified in CIMA/ACCA/ACA.

Responsibilities

• Provide financial insight and variance analysis to identify trends, risks and opportunities.

RECfinancial are exclusively partnering with a successful and growing Leicester based business in the appointment of a Finance Business Partner.

This is an excellent opportunity to join an established organisation that continues to invest across the business.

The role is commutable from all areas of Leicester / Leicestershire, Loughborough, Nottingham and surrounding areas.

Within this role, you ll play an important role in providing financial insight across the business, helping stakeholders to better understand performance and supporting the continued growth of the organisation.

Whilst you ll be involved in the production and review of management accounts, this isn t a traditional month-end focused position, with management accounts making up around 25% of the role. The greater focus will be on understanding what sits behind the numbers, investigating variances and identifying trends, risks and opportunities across the business.

You ll support the budgeting and forecasting processes, produce meaningful analysis and commentary for senior management and the Board, and work closely with operational stakeholders to provide the financial information they need to make informed commercial decisions. There will also be plenty of opportunity to improve reporting, develop financial models and identify areas where Finance can add further value.

We re particularly keen to hear from candidates currently working within Finance Business Partnering, FP&A, Commercial Finance or Management Accounting who enjoy the analytical and stakeholder-facing side of Finance. Strong Excel skills are important, with exposure to Power BI or developing dashboards and management information advantageous.

Candidates studying towards, or qualified in, CIMA, ACCA or ACA will be considered, alongside experienced qualified-by-experience professionals with a strong commercial background.

This role offers a salary package between £52,000 and £60,000, hybrid working following the completion of probation, alongside a competitive wider benefits package.
