Job summary

Poundland Limited is hiring a Finance Business Partner to join our Walsall team. This hybrid role partners with the commercial function, turning financial data into actionable insight and challenging assumptions to drive performance and strategy.

You will embed within areas of responsibility, build trusted relationships, and provide independent financial guidance for informed decision-making.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a large and complex commercial organisation.
Retail sector experience is preferred but not essential.
Strong analytical skills with ability to turn complex questions into clear reporting.
Excellent Excel and Power BI skills; ACCA/CIMA qualification is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Partner with commercial teams to turn financial data into actionable insight.
Identify risks and opportunities and challenge assumptions constructively.
Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning for assigned areas.
Present findings at senior management and strategic meetings with clear recommendations.
Develop financial models and business cases for strategic plans and investments.
Oversee weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reviews.
