Murphy is seeking a Finance Business Partner Analyst to join the Plant Finance team, delivering high-quality reporting and insightful analysis. You will support month-end processes, budgeting and forecasting while working with operational stakeholders across Murphy Plant.

The role develops technical accounting and stakeholder-engagement capability in a dynamic environment. You will collaborate on financial controls, project master data, and variances, contributing to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Working towards a professional accounting qualification with a strong record of success.
• Experience in month-end reporting and variance analysis.
• Excellent Excel skills and ability to produce high-quality written communications.

Responsabilités

• Support accurate and timely month-end reporting, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reallocations and allocated profit and loss accounts.
• Prepare revenue, salary, overhead and flash reporting with clear supporting analysis for review.
• Complete balance sheet reconciliations, investigate exceptions and escalate material or unresolved items.
• Support compliance with accounting policies, financial controls and audits.
• Prepare and validate asset-category reporting and analyse revenue, cost, utilisation, maintenance and operational performance.
• Investigate variances between billing, invoices, project ledgers and management accounts, preparing reallocations where required.
• Maintain allocated project master data from opening to closure and perform reconciliations.
