Job summary

Murphy is seeking a Finance Business Partner Analyst in Hemel Hempstead to provide high-quality financial reporting, analysis and business partnering across Murphy Plant. You will support month-end close, journals, accruals and balance sheet reconciliations while collaborating with plant operations and senior finance colleagues.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical and planning skills with solid accounting and controls background.
• Experience across multiple areas of the finance function.
• Ability to present financial information to senior management.
• Excellent Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end reporting including journals, accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Produce revenue, costs and working capital analyses for review by Plant Senior Finance Partner.
• Support budgeting, forecasts and quarterly reviews with allocated schedules and assumptions.
• Investigate variances between actuals and forecasts and communicate findings clearly.
• Contribute to finance improvement projects and process improvements.
