Job summary

UK Fusion Energy (UKFE) Ltd is seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to provide strategic financial leadership across IPTs and STEP Programme delivery. You will drive robust budgeting, governance, and insightful reporting to support senior decision-making.

With autonomy and a focus on value-for-money, you will partner with Programme Directors and IPT Leads, manage multi-year finances, and contribute to continuous improvement across UKFE.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business.
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Working knowledge of IFRS and government frameworks.
• Experience of multi-year, multi-million-pound projects and related accounting/forecasting activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead budget and forecast preparation across IPTs and programmes.
• Provide high-quality financial insight to support investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with group finance policies and governance standards.
• Oversee inter-company transactions and reporting integrity.
