Qualifikationen

• Fully qualified accountant (CIPFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or part-qualified with a plan to achieve full qualification within 9 months.
• Evidence of post-qualification continuing professional development.

Aufgaben

• Support the Head of Finance in revenue and capital budget setting, financial planning, forecasting and MTFS activities.
• Provide an effective Business Partnering function to the organisation and contribute to policy development.
• Act as a critical friend to the service area, providing depth of knowledge and customer-focused advice.
• Provide revenue and capital monitoring, budget setting, MTFS setting and year-end closure of accounts.
• Manage financial services for the assigned service and oversee budgets with healthy challenge.
• Formulate financial policies, report to senior management, and ensure integrity of information.
• Lead budget streams, forecasting, risk management and resource allocation.
• Ensure financial data analytics inform budget monitoring and long-term planning.
• Collaborate with services to ensure accurate system inputs and outputs.
