Job summary

Education Training Collective seeks a Finance Business Partner - Capital & Projects to guide financial planning and reporting for a range of capital investments. You will work with budget holders, project managers and senior leaders to ensure robust forecasting and governance.

You will monitor multi‑million pound projects, ensure accurate tracking of expenditure, income and cashflow, and support timely monthly management accounts and statutory reporting.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths or equivalent.
• AAT Level 4 qualification or equivalent accounting qualification.
• Experience using financial procedures and computerised accounting systems.
• Experience in financial planning, budgeting, monitoring and control.
• Experience of Fixed Assets, depreciation and grants.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient financial support to Heads of Department and Budget holders in line with policies.
• Monitor income, expenditure and cashflow for capital and other projects; support grant/loan claims.
• Prepare reports on capital project status and progress for Senior Management and Governors.
• Maintain cashflow forecasts and budgets; assist with monthly management accounts.
• Support development of digital processes in financial operations.
