Job summary

Enhance Academy Trust invites applications for the Trust Business Manager to support the Headteacher and Senior Leaders across up to seven schools. The role focuses on strategic financial planning, budget management, and governance to maximise resources and achieve pupil outcomes.

You will oversee monthly management accounts, capital planning, and income generation through grant applications, while ensuring compliance with ESFA requirements and Trust policies.

Qualifications

• Strategic financial planning for a multi-school Trust.
• Budget monitoring and reporting in line with policy and ESFA requirements.
• HR, payroll and governance responsibilities within a school group.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts to monitor and forecast budgets.
• Develop strategic plans for staff and resources using planning tools.
• Manage group-wide financial controls and procurement processes to ensure value for money.
• Liaise with funding bodies to identify grants and additional funding opportunities.
• Lead on GDPR compliance and safeguarding data practices across the Trust.
• Attend LAB and Trust meetings and provide timely financial information.
