Job summary

NOVENCO Building & Industry UK Ltd invites applications for a commercially minded Finance Manager to strengthen financial performance across the UK business from our Bowerhill, Melksham office. You’ll partner with the UK Managing Director and lead forecasting, budgeting and project accounting for multiple live engineering projects.

With ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent, you’ll drive financial governance, monthly reporting, and commercial decision‑making in collaboration with Group Finance in Denmark,

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in engineering, construction, manufacturing, or project-based environments with focus on profitability.
• Strong knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, project accounting, WIP, cost control, and financial reporting.
• Ability to partner with senior stakeholders and translate financial data into practical recommendations.
• Ability to work independently in a standalone finance role while collaborating with international colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly reporting, financial insights, and actionable recommendations across the UK business.
• Lead forecasting and budgeting across revenue, order intake, project performance, SG&A, and annual planning.
• Perform monthly P&L variance analysis against budget and prior year; identify drivers and actions.
• Drive monthly project financial reviews with Project Managers to strengthen budgeting, WIP, and cost control.
