Sanderson in Derbyshire is seeking a Finance Manager to provide financial management, reporting and business support across a complex environment. Hybrid working enables flexibility while staying close to stakeholders.

The role requires a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong governance and Excel skills; you will drive month-end close, budgeting and financial modelling, and help progression towards professional qualifications.

Qualifications

Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
Experience within a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar role.
Strong Excel and financial systems experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to stakeholders.
Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance processes are maintained.
Support year-end reporting, audits and statutory requirements.
Contribute to financial modelling, business cases and decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.
Build effective relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
