Job summary

Sanderson in Derbyshire is seeking a Finance Manager to provide financial management, reporting and business support across a complex environment. Hybrid working enables flexibility while staying close to stakeholders.

The role requires a qualified or part-qualified accountant with strong governance and Excel skills; you will drive month-end close, budgeting and financial modelling, and help progression towards professional qualifications.

Qualifications

• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience within a Finance Manager, Management Accountant, Finance Business Partner or similar role.
• Strong Excel and financial systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts and financial reports.
• Support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities.
• Monitor financial performance and provide insightful analysis to stakeholders.
• Ensure robust financial controls, governance and compliance processes are maintained.
• Support year-end reporting, audits and statutory requirements.
• Contribute to financial modelling, business cases and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and reporting.

Derbyshire Hybrid Working £45,000 - £50,000 + Benefits

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join a well-established organisation, providing financial management, reporting and business support across a complex and evolving environment.

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified finance professional looking to take on a broad and varied role. You'll work closely with a range of stakeholders, helping to ensure sound financial management, support strategic decision-making and drive continuous improvement across finance processes. The organisation is committed to developing its people and can offer support for those progressing towards a professional accountancy qualification.

Key Responsibilities
