Job summary

Morgan McKinley (Milton Keynes) is recruiting for a Finance Manager based in Bicester. The role reports to the Financial Controller and covers financial accounting, reporting, controls and business partnering with financial and operational stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a qualified accountant with manufacturing experience, strong technical accounting and Excel skills, and the ability to work with diverse stakeholders across Finance and the business.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Manufacturing experience beneficial
• Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
• Advanced Excel and reporting capability
• Ability to work with Finance and wider business stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support month end and year end close processes
• Prepare and review journals, reconciliations and balance sheet information
• Collaborate with operational teams to analyse financial performance
• Support analysis of actual performance vs budgets/forecasts
• Maintain strong financial controls and compliant reporting
• Develop and improve financial reporting processes, systems and controls
• Ensure accuracy of financial information for management reporting
