Job summary

Resourcey Group is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the delivery of management information and partner with Leadership to shape financial performance. This hybrid role combines hands-on accounting with strategic input, reporting to SLT/ELT and overseeing a Finance team.

The successful candidate will bring housing-sector knowledge, strong budgeting and forecasting skills, and a proactive approach to improving processes. Lancashire-based with 2-3 on-site days per week.

Qualifications

• Significant management accounting / operational finance experience.
• Experience within a Housing Association or housing environment.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting skills.
• Excellent understanding of financial controls and balance sheet management.
• Experience leading and developing a finance team.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• The confidence to influence and support senior decision-making.
• A proactive approach to improving processes and performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead monthly management accounts and operational finance reporting.
• Support annual budgets, forecasting and financial planning.
• Provide insightful analysis and business partnering to Senior Operational teams.
• Oversee balance sheet controls and reconciliations.
• Support statutory accounts and audit activity.
• Develop management information, reporting and KPI insight.
• Drive improvements to systems, processes and ways of working.
• Promote a strong Value for Money culture.
• Provide financial oversight of key projects.
• Lead, manage and develop the Finance team.
• Build strong relationships across Finance, Operations and wider Group Business Services.
