Job summary

The Quill C of E Trust is seeking a Director of Finance and Chief Financial Officer to lead its Executive Team, directing the centralised finance function across planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, audit, treasury and compliance. The role emphasises sustainable hours and a hybrid working pattern.

Qualified accountants with senior leadership experience are required, and visa sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or equivalent).
• Significant senior leadership experience.
• Governance, audit, risk management and regulatory compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Shape the Trust's strategic direction as a member of the Executive Team.
• Lead the central finance team and oversee financial management.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial planning.
