• Support development of the Council's 10-year Capital Programme and Capital Strategy.
• Ensure robust financial management and governance arrangements.
• Lead coordination and development of the Council's Capital Programme.
• Ensure sound governance, effective financial controls and compliance with financial regulations.
• Manage a small team of staff.
• Work closely with colleagues across the organisation.
• Embed Oracle processes.
• Strengthen financial governance and improve how financial services support decision-making.
• Identify and assess issues affecting the Council's financial position.
• Provide clear, strategic advice to support decision-making.
• Influence major investment decisions and support delivery of the capital programme.
