Job summary

Ambitions Personnel in Huntingdon is seeking an experienced Finance Lead to join the finance team. The role focuses on financial reporting, planning, systems improvement and operational efficiency, working with stakeholders across departments.

The ideal candidate will hold ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent, with consolidation, forecasting and reporting experience, and a proactive approach to process improvement. This is a full-time role (37 hours/week) offering opportunities to influence business

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional with ACCA/CIMA/ACA or equivalent.
• Strong experience in consolidation, planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support and improve financial systems and processes.
• Ensure timely financial reporting and data management.
• Assist with consolidation, planning and forecasting.
• Perform variance and cost analyses to inform decisions.
• Provide financial insights to internal teams.
• Maintain compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and boost efficiency.
• Offer technical financial support to stakeholders.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in the finance function.
