Point Professional Recruitment LTD is assisting a large organisation in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, to recruit a Finance Lead for a full-time, temporary role. The position offers 37 hours per week and a salary of £28.40 per hour (£56,595 FTE).

The role combines technical finance expertise with business insight, influencing senior stakeholders and driving improvements across reporting, systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Qualified finance professional (ACCA, CIMA or ACA) or equivalent experience — essential
• Proven experience in financial consolidation, planning, forecasting and reporting — essential
• Strong variance and cost analysis skills — essential
• Experience influencing and engaging senior stakeholders effectively
• Strong commercial and business acumen
• Good working knowledge of financial reporting and analysis tools such as Power BI, SAP or similar — essential

We’re recruiting a Finance Lead on behalf of a large, well-established organisation based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time, temporary position working 37 hours per week, paying £28.40 per hour (FTE equivalent £56,595) — and a strong opportunity for a qualified finance professional looking for a senior, varied role where your expertise will have a genuine impact.

Working closely with internal stakeholders across the business, you’ll play a key role in supporting financial systems, delivering accurate reporting and driving the kind of operational efficiency and continuous improvement that underpins good decision-making at every level.
