Job summary

Michael Page Finance is assisting a values-led, multi-site organisation in seeking a Head of Finance. This senior role offers strategic influence and operational leadership to drive financial performance and sustainability across services.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and compliance, advise the CEO and Board, and develop a high-performing finance team to support organisational priorities.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or equivalent).
• Experience in senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong track record of strategic financial planning and driving organisational change.
• Excellent knowledge of governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
• Strong leadership capability with experience developing teams.
• Confident working with senior stakeholders at Board level.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver the overall financial strategy aligned to organisational priorities.
• Act as the principal financial advisor to the CEO, Board, and senior leadership team.
• Oversee all financial operations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory bodies and standards.
• Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Produce high-quality management information and statutory accounts.
• Provide insight and challenge to support decision-making across the organisation.
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team.
• Monitor financial performance and drive continuous improvement across services.
