Job summary

Kings Place is seeking a Finance Director to oversee long-term financial sustainability, balancing charitable and artistic aims with commercial performance. You will lead the finance function, provide robust forecasting, and work with Trustees to guide strategic decisions.

The role requires a qualified accountant with senior leadership experience, strong technical analysis, and excellent communication. Hybrid working is offered, with on-site meetings and remote tasks acceptable.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in a senior finance leadership role.
• Strong track record in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management.
• Experience in the charity or non-profit sector is essential, with arts/culture venues or events welcome.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear financial analysis, advice and robust cashflow forecasting to support decision-making across the organisation.
• Lead the Finance team and oversee budgeting, forecasting, management and statutory reporting.
• Shape funding strategy, organisational planning, risk management and the development of systems and processes.
• Collaborate across Kings Place to improve financial reporting and use of technology, automation and AI.
