Job summary

Porsche Financial Services Great Britain Ltd is seeking a Financial Controller to lead the accounting, controlling, reporting and financial planning activities. You will partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insight, challenge and guidance for informed decision-making and performance improvement.

Responsibilities include month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, governance, and cross-border coordination with Porsche entities.

Qualifications

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, an equivalent recognised professional accounting qualification or demonstrable experience in a similar role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge, including financial reporting, controls, statutory reporting and accounting standards.
• Advanced analytical and financial modelling skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial and commercial data.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting and business performance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and annual close processes with timely delivery of management accounts.
• Maintain robust financial control environment with policies, reconciliations, journal approvals and process documentation.
• Provide technical accounting leadership and final review of financial outputs.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning aligned to business objectives.
• Monitor performance against budget and advise on corrective actions and financial implications.
• Own the management information and commercial insight framework for informed decision-making.
• Produce and interpret management reports highlighting trends, risks and opportunities.
• Act as senior finance partner to PFS Germany, Porsche Cars GB, VW Financial Services and other stakeholders.
• Support the MD with business cases, strategic analysis and executive reporting.
• Oversee statutory, tax and Group reporting including audit coordination, VAT, corporation tax and regulatory submissions.
• Lead governance, risk, compliance and internal controls per Group policies.
