Job summary

Page Personnel is seeking a commercially minded Finance Business Partner to support a large, transformation-focused organisation in Cardiff. You will provide financial insight, challenge and support to drive performance, manage risk and enable informed decisions.

You will partner with senior leaders and budget holders, leading monthly management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. The role demands proactive problem-solving and strong communication across functions.

Qualifications

Experience in financial analysis and business partnering.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency with financial reporting tools and models.

Responsibilities

Produce monthly management accounts and insightful performance commentary.
Lead budgeting and forecasting processes (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow).
Build strong relationships with budget holders and senior operational stakeholders.
Act as first point of contact for finance support and financial reviews.
Prepare business cases and investment appraisals for approvals.
Present financial performance, risks, opportunities and forecast variances to senior teams.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive process improvements.
Prepare reconciliations and review financial commitments across areas.
Support year-end audit activities and respond to auditor queries.
Deliver ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic decisions.
