News UK is seeking a fully qualified accountant to join our Finance team in a hybrid London role. You will partner with commercial teams to drive analysis, forecasting, and business partnering across revenue streams and costs, linking financial results to actionable commercial recommendations.

You will build and maintain financial models, dashboards and KPI reporting, support budgets and scenarios, and explain variances to stakeholders. Strong Excel and TM1 skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified accountant status (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Strong analytical capabilities to investigate data and translate findings into commercial recommendations.
• Experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting; business partnering experience is desirable.
• Deep commercial awareness of revenue, costs and profitability.

Responsabilités

• Build relationships with commercial teams and budget owners to deliver financial insight and practical support.
• Analyse revenue streams, brands and platforms to investigate drivers like pricing and customer trends.
• Evaluate costs associated with generating revenue, including team costs and advertising costs.
• Support budgets, forecasts and long-term planning by modelling trading scenarios.
• Prepare analysis and commentary for weekly, monthly and quarterly reviews.
• Maintain and develop financial models, dashboards and KPI reporting.
• Collaborate with the wider Broadcasting team to reflect commercial developments in reporting.
