Job summary

FarmWell is seeking a proactive Farm Management Consultant to support landowners, farm managers and rural businesses across the UK. You will provide hands-on management advice alongside high-level business consultancy to improve profitability and resilience.

Working with an experienced team, you will develop strategies, budgets, cashflows and reports while guiding clients through environmental schemes and regulatory requirements. A genuine passion for agriculture is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Agriculture, Land Management or related discipline required.
• Strong analytical and financial skills essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and general business systems.

Responsibilities

• Deliver farm management and business consultancy to a diverse farming client base.
• Develop business strategies, budgets, cashflows and management reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability, efficiency and long-term resilience.
• Manage grant, subsidy and environmental scheme applications.
• Advise on agricultural policy, compliance and environmental regulations.
• Support diversification, development and growth projects.
• Provide technical guidance across crops, livestock, soil health and modern farming practices.
• Assist with farm staff recruitment, management and development.
