Job summary

In this role, you will prepare detailed cost estimates for a range of construction projects, ensuring accurate and competitive tenders. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in estimating, ideally within a main contractor environment, with exposure to projects up to £20m and strong knowledge of construction methods. Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office is required. The company focuses on public sector projects including education and healthcare.

Qualifications

• Experience as an Estimator in a main contractor environment.
• Exposure to projects up to £20m and public/commercial sectors.
• Strong commercial awareness in construction.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for construction projects.

• Obtain and assess subcontractor quotations.
