Job summary

PSR Solutions is seeking an experienced Estimator to join its growing pre-construction team. The business delivers a wide range of construction projects through public sector frameworks across education, healthcare, residential, refurbishment and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an Estimator within a main contractor environment.
• Experience pricing new-build and refurbishment construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials and procurement processes.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent commercial awareness and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and tender submissions for construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications and tender documentation to determine project requirements.
• Obtain and analyse quotations from subcontractors and suppliers.
• Assist in developing competitive tender strategies and value engineering solutions.
• Work closely with commercial, design and operational teams throughout the tender process.
• Attend pre-tender meetings, site visits and client discussions where required.
• Identify project risks, opportunities and cost-saving measures.
• Manage multiple tender opportunities while meeting key deadlines.
