Job summary

The Forge Brook Trust is seeking an experienced Estates lead to join our Central Services Team, reporting to the Chief Finance Officer. You will be the primary contact for our Headteachers and Business Managers on all matters relating to Health, Safety, Critical Incidents and Estates, including the delivery of major capital projects.

Qualifications

• Must have a recognised building qualification or related degree.
• Experience leading estates across a multi-site portfolio.
• Extensive knowledge of current legislation and NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a 3–5 year strategic estates plan based on condition surveys and priorities.
• Act as Contract Administrator for high-value capital projects and lead final accounts negotiations.
• Manage compliance with Building Safety Act and Martyn's Law and oversee external H&S consultants.
• Line manage and develop estates teams to support the Trust Estates Manager.
