Job summary

KPMG International Cooperative is seeking an Estate Surveyor to join the Estate Management team in Reading. The role involves owning lease management activities, advising stakeholders, and coordinating external agents to achieve value-focused outcomes.

The position is hybrid, based in Reading with travel across the UK. You will review and implement strategic property solutions, lead lease negotiations and manage information across the UK office portfolio, contributing to budgets and forecasts as

Qualifications

• MRICS qualification preferred or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Review, develop and implement strategic property solutions across the UK office portfolio.
• Lead and support leasehold negotiations, including rent reviews and dilapidations.
• Assess opportunities to dispose of surplus accommodation or acquire new space with clear analysis.
• Resolve property matters with concise reports to support decisions.
• Select and manage property agents, consultants and legal advisers to ensure value for money.
• Maintain accurate property, lease, market and portfolio information and contribute to monthly reporting.
• Support property budgets, monitor expenditure and coordinate with Finance on forecasts.
• Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders and guide junior team members.
• Demonstrate experience in corporate real estate management, acquisitions, disposals and lease management.
• Interpret lease and contract terms and apply them to property matters including dilapidations.
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external advisers to achieve agreed outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain property information, reports and expenditure forecasts with strong analytics.
