Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Senior Estate Development Project Manager to lead the estate and capital development agenda, ensuring safe, compliant, and future-proofed facilities to support patient care.

You will oversee capital projects, minor works, space management, and land and property matters, providing senior leadership and technical guidance while building strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical leaders.

Qualifications

• Highly developed negotiation and leadership skills.
• Knowledge of planning, compliance regulations and construction legislation.
• Experience with renewables and sustainable construction including BREEAM.
• Proficient report writing and documentation.
• Strong IT skills across CAD, BIM, MS Project and Office suite.
• Knowledge of HTM/HBN NHS guidance and NEC4 contracts.
• Familiarity with RIBA Plan of Work and NHS project governance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the delivery of all capital and minor works schemes.
• Manage space within the organisation and land/property matters.
• Provide senior leadership and technical advice across the Estate Development agenda.
• Develop strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical team leaders.
