Job summary

isepglobal is partnering with a leading infrastructure and highways and essential services organisation to fill a Principal Environmental Consultant role in the environmental consultancy function. You will shape environmental strategy, lead technical delivery, and influence sustainable outcomes across a diverse project portfolio.

You'll direct EIA activities, advise senior stakeholders, mentor consultants, and drive innovation in carbon reduction, biodiversity and climate resilience.

Qualifications

• Proven track record delivering environmental solutions for infrastructure or highways projects.
• Strong knowledge of Environmental Impact Assessment and planning processes.
• Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive strategic environmental outcomes.
• Experience mentoring consultants and leading cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead Environmental Strategy on landmark infrastructure projects from concept to delivery.
• Provide senior-level environmental advice across EIA, planning, sustainability and compliance.
• Drive carbon, biodiversity and climate resilience initiatives within projects.
• Shape and grow the environmental function within the consultancy team.
• Influence senior stakeholders, regulators and clients to steer project strategy.
