Job summary

Brit Insurance is seeking a Head of Enterprise Risk Management in London to lead the ongoing development of the risk management framework across underwriting, reserving, investment and credit risk. You will work closely with the CRO and Director of Risk to ensure risks are identified, reported and mitigated in line with risk appetite.

You will also build relationships with regulators, lead the risk analysis of the underwriting portfolio and investment strategy, and manage a team of risk

Qualifications

• Senior insurance risk experience.
• Strong knowledge of Solvency II and PRA/FCA regulatory environment.
• Actuarial qualification or significant actuarial experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and development of Brit's Risk Management Framework across underwriting, reserving, investment and credit risk.
• Review and challenge strategy, portfolio management and risk appetite with focus on underwriting and investment.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of risk professionals and business unit risk partners to keep ERM practical and business-facing.
