Job summary

WPP Enterprise Solutions is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to lead enterprise commerce solution design across web storefronts, mobile apps, data, ERP and back-office systems. You will articulate business value, win trust with senior client stakeholders, and build working demos to showcase capabilities.

Qualifications

• Enterprise commerce experience across retail, consumer brands or B2B.
• Breadth across platforms: Adobe Commerce, Salesforce CC, Shopify and MACH components.
• Presales and new business: shaping deals, workshops, proposals, senior presentations.
• Commercial acumen: speak about value, cost and ROI with executives.
• Data and ERP integration: understand ERP, order management and analytics integration.
• Mobile apps: knowledge of native and cross-platform architectures.
• Architecture and communication: diagramming and storytelling for seniors.
• Hands-on credibility: capable of building a demo store or proof of concept.
• Presence: energetic, credible with clients.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end enterprise commerce solutions spanning web, mobile apps, data and ERP.
• Lead workshops and governance with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities.
• Guide platform choices, migrations, and cost/risk considerations for clients.
• Design integration patterns among ERP, order management, product data and analytics.
• Shape mobile and omnichannel strategies to ensure a joined-up customer experience.
• Build business cases and roadmaps linking technology decisions to revenue and margins.
• Prepare proposals and pitches with clear architecture and effort estimates.
• Ensure deliverability with clean handover to delivery teams.
