Job summary

Babcock is seeking an Enterprise Architect to shape the strategic technology direction of a complex, international organisation. You will lead enterprise-wide decision-making with senior leaders, aligning investments with business objectives and defining the future technology landscape.

In this role you will influence critical national infrastructure projects, develop leadership and architecture skills, and contribute to an environment focused on collaboration, innovation, and resilience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related discipline.
• TOGAF or similar certification desirable.
• Experience translating business requirements into scalable architecture.
• Strong understanding of business strategy and aligning tech with objectives.
• Knowledge of microservices, APIs, data platforms, and cybersecurity principles.

Responsibilities

• Represent enterprise architecture in executive forums, providing insight and recommendations.
• Create and present enterprise architecture roadmaps aligning tech capabilities to goals.
• Establish architecture principles, standards and governance across domains.
• Contribute architectural insight to prioritisation of technology projects and investments.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardise and modernise the technology landscape.
