Job summary

HMRC is undergoing a major transformation to modernise its IT estate, with the Enterprise Architecture (Enterprise Operations) team shaping technology roadmaps and governing standards across a large, complex environment.

You will influence policy, deliver secure, scalable solutions, and work across workforce, learning, estates and corporate enablement to realise HMRC's strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience operating as a senior Enterprise Architect.
• Ability to translate priorities into enterprise architecture strategy.
• Experience with enterprise architecture governance and standards.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and evolve strategic technology roadmaps for HMRC.
• Govern reference architectures guiding technology decisions.
• Align architecture with organisational goals and policies.
• Provide architectural leadership across enterprise platforms and services.
• Ensure capabilities are coherently designed, governed and evolved.
