Job summary

WSP UK is seeking an Engagement professional to join our expanding UK-wide Engagement team of 60+, shaping how major infrastructure projects connect with communities. You will manage public consultation and engagement within the Planning and Consents business unit, advising clients and collaborating with colleagues across WSP to deliver engaging communications.

Responsibilities

• delivering meaningful communication and engagement activity to help clients deliver infrastructure projects by drafting and delivering stakeholder engagement strategies
• helping communities understand projects and how it may impact them by writing accessible communications and managing design and print processes
• providing opportunities for questions and feedback through publishing communications, organising events and running surveys
• presenting feedback to support project development by interpreting data and reporting themes and issues
• delivering engagement advice and activities for UK and international clients, including virtual consultation rooms, posters, banners, maps and community events
• collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver effective communication and engagement
• managing projects with respect to timelines, budgets and resources to deliver for clients
