Job summary

Wessex Water Services is seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to lead our Group ER framework and provide strategic guidance across the organisation. You will partner with senior leaders, trade unions and HR colleagues to shape governance, drive performance and improve employee outcomes.

The role requires strong UK employment law knowledge, stakeholder management, and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.

Qualifications

Significant experience in Employee Relations, HRBP or senior HR advisory role.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and handling complex ER cases.
Experience supporting organisational change including restructures and TUPE.

Responsibilities

Lead and continuously improve the Group Employee Relations framework with governance and compliance.
Manage and develop the HR Adviser team delivering high-quality ER services.
Advise on complex and high-risk people matters as the ER expert.
Build manager capability through coaching and training.
Lead complex cases and change activities including disciplinary, grievances and restructuring.
