Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council is seeking a Funding and Partnerships Development Officer to lead strategic funding initiatives, oversee projects and foster collaboration with schools, partners and Welsh Government programmes. The role focuses on maximizing grant funding and measuring impact for learners and communities.

Formación

• Degree level qualification or equivalent relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Welsh Government education policy.
• Understanding of grant funding requirements, compliance and public sector financial accountability.
• Knowledge of partnership working across education, health, social care and third sector.
• Understanding of data, evaluation and performance monitoring in a public service context.
• Desirable postgraduate qualification or professional qualification.
• Knowledge of Sustainable Communities for Learning or capital programmes.
• Understanding of anti-poverty, wellbeing and early intervention agendas.
• Knowledge of education funding streams (e.g. PDG) and their application in schools.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor externally funded programmes and develop funding opportunities.
• Support partnership activity and demonstrate impact of investment for learners and communities.
• Work with schools, School Collaboration Partners and Welsh Government programmes.
• Coordinate collaboration with health colleagues and third sector.
• Provide evidence and reporting on funded initiatives.
