Job summary

Essex Integrated Care Board (ICB) is seeking a Digital Engagement Specialist to drive digital transformation across primary care and ICB systems. You will lead large, complex projects, represent the IT team at meetings with GPIT partners, and ensure IT services for primary care are effective.

You will analyse data, support policy and service improvements, and help prepare evidence for cyber and DSPT readiness while working with NHS partners in a collaborative, cross‑disciplinary environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large, complex digital projects across primary care and ICBs.
• Ability to turn qualitative and quantitative data into actionable insights.
• Knowledge of NHS digital services and cyber/digital governance concepts.
• Strong communication with clinical and non-clinical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Analyse complex data and present insights to inform decision making.
• Develop project plans with governance, risk, escalations and reporting.
• Represent the IT team at meetings and joint forums with partners.
• Support digital strategy delivery and annual cyber/dspT readiness reporting.
• Collaborate with GPIT/primary care to ensure effective IT services.
