Job summary

Pod Talent is partnering with a well-known international food brand to recruit a Demand Planner for Surrey on a 7-month FTC, with 1 day in the office. The role focuses on building SKU-level forecasts, automating reports, and supporting key supply chain initiatives across Europe.

You will work closely with internal and external supply chain partners, using data-driven insights to optimise performance and enhance forecasting accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience as a Forecaster or Demand Planner in FMCG, Consumer Goods or Retail.
• Strong analytical capability; proficient in Excel and Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills with confidence in leading meetings and presenting findings.
• Commercially minded with ability to understand and interpret business performance drivers.

Responsibilities

• Build and automate short-, medium- and long-term SKU-level demand forecasts and dashboards in Power BI.
• Deliver daily and weekly reporting across supplier performance, forecast accuracy, stockholding and end-to-end visibility.
• Lead promotional forecasting, incorporating market intelligence and cross-functional inputs.
• Analyse forecast deviations to drive continuous improvement and provide proactive supply chain insights.
• Collaborate with Logistics, Buying and wider teams to ensure stock availability and support tender processes.
