Job summary

BCS Learning and Development Ltd is seeking a Project Manager (Strategic Delivery) to lead and manage strategic delivery projects within Strategic Partnerships, Programmes and Policy Directorate. You will work with the Director and senior leadership to drive initiatives aligning with BCS goals.

The role requires structured project delivery, collaboration across cross-functional teams, and accountability for scope, budget, risks and stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Strong grounding in structured project delivery.
• Experience within a membership body, professional association, or regulated not-for-profit environment is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic projects on time, within scope and within budget.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans with milestones, dependencies and resource needs.
• Manage project budgets, forecasting, tracking expenditure and reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure projects follow the PMO governance framework and delivery standards.
• Identify, assess and manage project risks and issues, maintaining RAID logs.
• Lead change control processes and assess impact of scope changes on timelines and resources.
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, provide clear updates to leadership and board.
• Contribute to business case development, options appraisals and post-implementation reviews.
