Job summary

MBDA in Bolton is seeking a Procurement Subcontract Specialist to manage supplier contracts and lead subcontract activities across the lifecycle of missiles and sub-systems. You will negotiate key terms, provide commercial guidance to internal teams, and travel to suppliers as required.

The role requires robust procurement experience, collaboration with suppliers, and an ability to balance risk and opportunity while working in a hybrid on-site/onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement subcontract management, including negotiation and terms and conditions.
• Ability to problem solve daily and provide resolutions.
• Willingness to travel to suppliers in the UK, Europe and potentially internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead subcontracts across the life cycle of missiles and missile systems.
• Provide commercial guidance to internal customers and manage risk and opportunity for MBDA.
• Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate contractual frameworks and ensure compliant contracting.
