Job summary

Advanced Resource Managers Ltd is seeking an Operations Support Manager for a 6-month on-site assignment in Bristol. The role requires ACTIVE SC clearance and MOD experience is advantageous.

You will support operational strategy, coordinate with Front-Line Commands, assist in SOC/OBC/FBC generation, manage risks, and help develop training and transition plans for capability integration.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance required.
• MOD experience in defence-related roles preferred.
• 6-month contract, on-site in Bristol.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of the operational strategy for the project.
• Assist in ensuring alignment with Defence Lines of Development (DLODs) to meet operational requirements.
• Contribute to the preparation of SOC, OBCs, FBCs, focusing on operational aspects.
• Coordinate with Front-Line Commands (FLCs) to ensure operational needs are met.
• Support the planning and execution of operational trials, testing, and evaluation activities.
• Monitor and report on the progress of operational deliverables and milestones.
• Identify and manage operational risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to training plans for operational personnel.
• Support the development of transition plans for the capability into service.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with MOD policies, including JSPs and the Defence Acquisition Framework (DAF).
• Help ensure the capability meets safety, environmental, and security standards for operational use.
